From Conflicting Studies to Clear Decisions
I dissect conflicting health claims and clinical trials to answer the only question that matters:
What should you actually do? Instead of regurgitating guidelines and papers, I translate complex medical evidence into decision frameworks you can use—so you can cut through uncertainty and make informed choices about your long-term health.
Beyond the articles, I work with driven individuals to quantify their real cardiovascular risk through lab audits and evidence-based decision systems. Learn more at my website.

How I Turn Research Into Decisions
I am a Doctor of Public Health Sciences with over two decades of research and R&D experience in longevity, exercise, and nutrition. But credentials are not the point.
The problem is this: Most clinical research is not designed to answer what YOU should do.
I bridge that gap by: → dissecting flawed or conflicting studies → identifying what actually applies to individuals → translating that into practical decision frameworks
My core method is the scientific N-of-1 approach—treating you as a clinical trial of one, rather than a statistical average.
Why My Work May Feel Contrarian
→ Much of clinical research does not translate into real-world decisions → Many published findings are distorted or incomplete → You only get one shot at your long-term health—and deserve better than averages
Work With Me
If you want to go beyond general advice, I offer private audits where we apply the same frameworks used in my articles to your personal data.
This includes:
→ interpretation of biomarkers (e.g., CAC, ApoB, Lp(a)) → personalized cardiovascular risk assessment → decision frameworks for interventions such as statins

I have published in peer-reviewed journals, including the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, BMC Public Health, and others, and received research funding from the German government, the EU, and public institutions.

Oh, and I live what I preach. Without the burden of disease and with the pleasure of doing the (crazier) things in life, despite being on the wrong side of 65.
