“All things in moderation” is probably the best diet advice condensed into 4 words.
Interesting that you mention the toxicity build-up over time. That’s certainly true for the substances that our bodies can’t metabolize or excrete. Fortunately, being a hyperastronimically complex syste, the body has quite a few strategies to deal with and neutralize “insults”. Complexity science calls this robustness. I have written about it in academic papers.
But I like your idea as I practice it, and also recommend to my clients, with a flipside view: relatively small amounts of beneficial molecules can also build up if you take them regularly. I do this with the beetroot juice’s nitrate content, and with fermented garlic. The key is daily intake. That also goes for certain types of fruits, that are part of my daily breakfast smoothie.
