Yeah, Kylie, that's a real problem, but it's not Metformin. Metformin readily available. everywhere. The drug father-in-law has a problem getting is a GLP-1 agonist. It's tradename should end with -glutide. Possibly it's Ozempic. If your FiL is on GLP-1 he probably has another drug too, because GLP-1 is not necessarily the first-line medication. If the other drug is Metformin, good. If it's a sulfonylurea, then he might want to switch to Metformin. Just give me the trade names of his meds and I can tell you.
