The big difference between immigration in the US and in Europe is the motivation of the immigrants. The South American migrants are in search of a better life based on their willingness to work for it. Their cultural norms are not that much different from the US (being predominantly Christian). In Europe, we have predominantly Muslim migrating into our social security networks. Their cultural norms clash with ours on so many levels, and their willingness to work is far less distinct than of the migrants in the US.
