That's a very informative and 'covering all angles' article about this neglected vitamin. Coincidentally, during the research for my upcoming post on menopause and its associated medical myths, I also encountered K2. Supplementation with K2 seems to significantly reduce osteoporosis in post-menopausal women. There is very often a disconnect between what researchers consider significant and what patients consider relevant. But not so in the arena of K2 supplementation post-menopause. A very recent review confirms a reduced incidence of bone fractures in this population. Knowing how devastating such fractures can be to elderly women, your article exemplifies the benefits of supplementation. Not only once menopause has arrived, but already pre-menopause as a preventative measure.
