That's a very good point, Mark: the learning experience. Honestly, I never thought about that aspect. But it is a very valid one, The "investment in one's health" as you describe it, is certainly dependent on learning from practical experience. For one simple reason: we all react differently to the same diet or intervention in general. That's why I'm a big fan of a methodical trial-and-error approach. This is the way to learn which interventions and health habits are the best fit for our unique predispositions.
