It turns out the same brand of canned meat, for example, would use all the premium and fresh cuts for the products they market in Germany while using the scraps and old meat on products they market in Romania. A joint German-Romanian journalistic investigation under a campaign named Standard Pentru Est (Standard For The East), which became the focus of the Romanian TV show Romania, Te Iubesc (Romania, I Love You), often revealed such discrepancies.
