Thanks, Trav, for mentioning HIIT. Yes, it turns out in more and more RCTs as superior to moderate continuous cardio. I have been experimenting with translating the HIIT template into strength exercise. What got me started on this was the frustration of being a so-called hard gainer. No matter how much volume or loads I work with, I hardly gained. Since developing a HIIT routine in resistance training, I gain a bit more. I'll take you up on this suggestion to write about HIIT. Will give you a shoutout when that happens, but it will take a little while.
