Thanks, Roland, for your kind appreciation. Yes, Lp(a) has been fingered as a cause of calcification, particularly of the aortic valve (as in aortic stenosis). The key to preventing Lp(a) to do ugly things is to keep the endothelial lining in pristine condition, as I explained in my response to Carolyne's comment. I'm pretty sure you are doing a good job at that.
