Thanks, Raveen, for your well-balanced take on aristocracy, in whatever form it may present itself. That we are created equal is a concept I fully subscribe to. What each one of us does with that equality is a slightly different matter. The scientist who develops a method to decarbonize the world, an emergency doctor who saves lives, a fireman who also saves lives, they all acquire merits that elude the drug dealers, criminals, and corrupt politicians of this world. So, I subscribe to the concept of a meritocracy that rewards the former and punishes the latter. So, born equal, yes, but merits should be weighed throughout life.
