Thanks, Petri, for your comment. You put your finger on a pet issue of mine: Education. As you said, our precious living machine is so complex that we can't hope to fully understand it any time soon. The things that we do understand should be taught from primary school onwards, though. It is grave negligence to not educate our children about how to best keep this complex machine in mint condition. Imagine how people would take care of their car if they knew they could only ever buy one throughout their lives.

That's why I think that health education, and the ability to discern facts from fiction, should be given a much more prominent role in education.
