Thanks, Peter, for sharing. You got me at "it's hard to convince yourself but ice-cream still tastes good if you eat half as much half as often". Yes, absolutely correct. Only the hedonics get in the way. Which is where exercise comes to the rescue. Do a bit more and you can let your hair down occasionally with the food. Almost none of us can be a dietary saint all the time.

As far as obesity is concerned, I believe preventing it could be so easy, if everyone starts daily weighing from young adulthood BEFORE the weight gain has reached irreversible degrees.
