Thanks, Kristina, for your observations. You mentioned "not even HFCS". I'd like to rephrase this to "especially not HFCS". The metabolization of fructose is very different from glucose. Consuming fructose in amounts that exceed its natural presence in fruits is a sure-fire recipe to increase liver fat. Not a good idea at all.
