Thanks, Kornelia, for your appreciation. Exogenous ketones is a very active and relatively recent field of research. But the results are inconclusive. I'll take your question for a follow-up article which shall go deeper into that subject.

One could say, that th keto diet was the first attempts at a diet that mimics fasting (after all, the metabolic response is very similar). Supplying exogenous ketones represents the next step of trying to simulate that response without having to follow the diet. I'm a bit skeptical whether the logic will pan out, but I'll dive deeper into the matter.

As far as the Withing scale is concerned, I'm unaware of monthly subscription. Do you need to sign up now for that? On top of buying the scale?
