Gel, chips, and cereal bars have a much greater density than the juice, which is part of the reason why they have a higher nitrate concentration. Always provided, of course, (as you rightly point out) that we can rely on the content specified on the label. Where I live, I can't find any product that mentions the nitrate content on the label. The reason is that these concentrations vary, even for the same product, because growing and harvesting conditions have an impact. So, I can only relate what published investigations provide as data.The juice of the beet root is typically higher in nitrate than the raw root itself, again for reasons of concentration. That's why it is better to juice the beetroot than to just blend beets if nitrate extraction is your main aim.
