And a large percentage of depressed patients notice very little benefits from pharmacotherapy. Studies that you read might suggest otherwise, as researchers are interested in the statistical relevance of changes in outcome biomarkers. The patient, however, is interested in what is relevant to them. Anyway, that you've heard it a thousand times, doesn't make the message wrong. If I knew how to solve the motivation issue, I would gladly trumpet it all over the place. I can present, though, what helped me: the post-exercise high, that called for hitting the repeat button every day.
