Thanks for sharing, Bob. Now, maybe you understand people like me. It's the gym workouts that put the brakes on sarcopenia and its fallout, frailty. Particularly men start losing muscle mass at an accelerating rate past 60. That's what people like me try to avoid. I have seen my father-in-law die of frailty, with his memory and mental acuity still fully intact. That's not an enjoyable fate. And the enjoyment is not necessarily in the workout itself. Because if you do it right, it is strenuous and unpleasant. It is the post-workout high that keeps people like me coming back every day.
