Thanks, Bob, for adding this fascinating wrinkle about the history of mouse models. I wasn't aware of that. In the labs there might not be any "fancy fruit flies" experiments, but what you said reminded me for the movie "The Fly". Hopefully, nobody takes that idea for a ride. 😃
