First, it’s a non-exercise test, that is, it estimates fitness based on some demographic data and a subjective estimate of current exercise volume and intensity (on just three or four levels). The latter is a no-no for me. As an example, it does make a difference whether you have been exercising for the past 20 years or the past 2 months. The test doesn’t capture this.
Second, when I took the test it told me that my body age is 37. That’s exactly 30 years younger than my chronological age. I loved seeing this result, and I know I’m physically younger than what my birth certificate suggests, but I know I’m not 37, trust me.
