Thank you very much, Calvin, for your kind appreciation and for sharing your remarkable path from obesity to normal weight. I fully agree with you on the benefits that these drugs offer to obese people. My concern, and the reason for writing this article, was to caution about a misguided exuberance while ignoring the potential drawbacks, particularly for those who can't stay on the drug. I hope that many readers find your comment, and it would be great if you could even write a post about it. Your experience is motivating and valuable for people who struggle with overweight/obesity.

Once you go off the drug, I'd recommend to closely monitor your weight and keep the gym routine up (cardio and strength). I have written some articles in the past about maintaining and increasing muscle mass, so might find some answers to your question there. I wish you all the best and would be seriously interested to learn about your future progress.
