But that's probably a typically male-type comment, so just disregard it. What I meant is, that women tend to think that men hiring women let themselves be influenced by looks rather than by capability. I can't dispel that myth entirely, unfortunately , because some of my gender pals are immature enough to go for looks over capability. But I can assure you that that's a minority. The minority of losers. Because if you have to assemble a team, you want the best-hitters, not the best-looking.
So is it the good-looking's fault if she happens to be a best hitter too? No. She is unfortunately the one who raises the envy of her less capable 'sisters', who didn't make the cut.
