Kylie, you are roaring back on the writers’ stage.
You should never have had to endure the feeling about your “writing being sub-par and no one being interested in anything I had to say”
I know the feeling that you mentioned, that of being inadequate. We all have it at times (with hte exception of politicians, because they are the truest conceivable clinical picture of incurable inadequacy). This feeling can become a dark deep hole, and, fortunately for you and us readers, you made it back.
I’m not saying this because you wrote so nicely about me that, honestly, I was moved to tears. If your writing does that to a “Harley guy” (we normally never admit to that), then there is your proof that your writing is far more than adequate, it is captivating, moving, inspirational, and funny. And you will reach the larger audience that your writing deserves.
Oh, and never let anyone tell you that fantasy writing is a side gig: “Fantasy is hardly an escape from reality. It's a way of understanding it.” Lloyd Alexander.
Once again, thanks for your mention.
