Jaclyn, you nailed it. And just as a preparation for the next full-decade-birthdays: you can replace 30 with any of those dates in your post.

Trust me, I'm speaking from experience.

When I was in my late fourties, I started again from scratch. Went to uni, made a MSc. and further. I sat there with those who were coming directly from high school. I didn't feel the age difference. Well, a bit maybe, in the evenings when I couldn't keep up with the beers.

And then I took the whole "don't feel your age" to a scientific level, making biological age my research topic.

Today, I know that my birth certificate can't be trusted to answer the age question correctly.

My wife is enviably even better at that. Not only does she look 20 years younger, she biologically is so, too. Which is sometimes a challenge (for me, mostly) when much younger guys in the gym try to hit on her. If they knew her real age. But we both enjoy it. So, no worries, with your attitude you'll be fine, even at the ripe old age of 30 😎
