If you are in the grips of imposter syndrome, I have three things to say to you.

OK, the first thing is not from me, it is from Maya Angelou, the author: "I have written 11 books but each time I think ‘Uh-oh, they’re going to find out now. I’ve run a game on everybody, and they’re going to find me out.’

If people like her have imposter syndrome, you not having it, would actually make you less believable as an author.

Second, women suffer more from imposter syndrome than men (that's because we are bit less sensitive, a lot dimmer, and never really grow up , according to my wife).

Third, I can feel you, I have often been in imposter country, and frequently make involuntary trips back there.

When I find myself there, I have a glass of Spanish Red as anti-imposter medicine, and I'm out of that in no time.

Barossa Valley is a well-stocked medicine cabinet in your backyard, or so I'm told.
