I haven't done any post specifically on UC, But here is a brief overview of the current state of knowledge: UC patients have an increased risk of developing CRC. Hence the prevalence numbers provided in the post will not apply to you. That is, the PPV will be higher. The risk of developing CRC for long-standing UC has been estimated to be up to 40%. That's why regular screening is advisable to catch the inflammation-dysplasia-carcinoma sequence early. But prognosis seems to be no different from CRC patients without UC.
