I I need to correc some possible misconception on your side: I don't use the Withings scale for body composition, for the same reason that you mention: inherent inaccuracies of the BIA method.
I specified that I use the scale only for pulse wave velocity (PWV) measurement. That has nothing to do with BIA.
The applied technique of ballistocardiography is a pulse-gated way of measuring PWV, which has been validated by independent researchers.
