I combine the curcumin with black pepper in my morning smoothie, about which I have written a post earlier. Piperine is the black pepper extract, so I try to keep things simple and low-price (instead of buying a supplement). Yes, piperine increases the bioavailability of curcumin, but that still doesn’t mean curcumin has any effect.
