First off: a marvelous piece of writing, Kylie! Happy to have prose-Kylie back in my feed.

I'm not so sure about the "Vulnerability is a superpower" though. Yeah, but maybe a superpower for those who can exploit the one who has admitted to it. Sharing a vulnerability is a superpower for oneself, only once one has overcome it. One can present it as a vulnerability, give oneself the veneer of authenticity, and direct attention away from the vulnerabilities one hasn't overcome, and would be foolish to share. That's a viable strategy for those who buy into this overrated authenticity thing. My experience in life has taught me the often painful lessons of NOT to expose one's jugular to the sharks that infest one's social environment. That might sound harsh, yet it is a lesson learned in my school of life. But hats-off to your school principal. She definitely knows how to play that game to perfection.
